The two friends discuss motherhood, business, music, food, pop-culture, Britney, Mariah, and - of course - the importance of really owning your personal truth and releasing your authentic self.

  • 90’s Music
  • Motherhood
  • Parenting through the Pandemic

About the Guest:

Becky Van Drunen is the author of the 90s music-infused cookbook Playlist Kitchen. Upbeat recipes and the music that brought them to life. She is the owner and lead culinary designer behind the award-winning freezer-meal prep company, Basil and Bacon, which provides food delivery, workshops, and education to busy families across the Lower Mainland of BC. Becky is also a classically-trained pianist and vocalist with a degree in music, and a senior leader at Canada's largest music company. When she’s not cooking up a number-one hit, you can find Becky laughing with her friends, dancing around the table with her two daughters, or helping to bring 90s fashion back to life.

Anna was born with a deep fascination for letters - a fascination that deepened when she discovered those letters could turn into words, those words into sentences and those sentences into stories. Not surprisingly, Anna graduated from The University of Victoria, with a Degree in both English and Gender Studies, fuelling her eventual mission to put the power of words back into the hands of women.

Despite multiple other certifications along the way, including one with world-renowned author and personal transformation pioneer, Deepak Chopra, it was ultimately her personal battle with post-traumatic stress, depression and anxiety that became the catalyst for the work she does now, as she helps pave the way for others to live with vulnerability and courage whether they are online, offline or on stage.
